Christmas Comes But Once A Year! 12/1/09 8:30 AM

Well, here we are December 1st. 23 shopping days until Christmas. I thought I would try putting up a Blog for some Christmas ideas. I'm sure alot of you are like me, no idea what to get this person, or that person. What do you buy for someone who has everything?!? What do you get for people, like my parents, who if they want something, they go buy it. What ever are we to do? Ideas and suggestions are what this Blog is for. Also, it would be nice to know how all of you are spending your Christmas Holiday. Where are you going? Are you cooking the meal? Any Family Traditions that you would like to share?? This is the place to open up and let us all know. Thank You to you all for a Wonderful Year!! Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year to all!!!

It's hard to give something to some one who has everything...make for your parents a box of 'memories' like a photo, a poem maybe a song they ever mentioned....stuff like that.. Our tradition is on day 2 it's Frits birthday and we always have all the kids together for 'gourmetten' ( hope you know)

To those who have EVERYTHING - nice soaps, handcreams, schampoo and other luxurious stuff that actually are GOOD to use from - www.lush.com - they have stores in some cities - Helping Hands smells not so nice, but have helped me a lot, no more scruffy hands at winter!!

for me, i get everyone gift cards so they can buy what they want. the only traditon we have is we all give my Gran rolled up quarters, cause her B~day is the 25th also and the day after we all go to the casinos to celebrate. She love playing the slot mashines!LOL

Wow!! I don't know if I would like my B-Day and Christmas the same day. Sounds like fun at the Casinos though!!!

I buy lottery tickets and hang them on the tree for my family. They get to pick the ones they want and if they get lucky, it's theirs. (They love this!)

Man!! You all have some really good ideas!!!

A friend and I always buy a huge box of groceries and a turkey through the southwest indian foundation to donate to those living on the reservation who have so little and would not otherwise have a holidau celebration.

AWESOME!!! What a Wonderful thing to do!!! You MUST be like me, a very caring person. That is sooooo Cool!! Right On!! Merry Christmas to YOU!!!!
