I assumed most heard the story of Jamie, i was wrong. This child, 14yrs took his life because he was bullied. I am very strong on the bullying needing to be stopped. I know this childs family, and i know ladygaga stepped in for this because the story made national attention and her most recent concert was devoted to him. we are the adults guiding the future here, what future is there if we cannot provide a safe, happy loving place for our children, whether you have any or not, this is the world to become. It saddens me that only 1 person here has acknowledged the fact something needs to be done. I think king is a great place but, i suppose here too, ya have to be in the cirlce before your mind is heard. Peace to all of you and thanx for your many thoughts, nice to know you care.

We have the same problems here in UK. The schools are doing their hardest to cope with this problem. We all need to be aware & help in anyway we can. Vunerable children are targets of these bullies. It happens in the workplace too & other walks of life. We have all been bullied at some time,Jean x

i have a 2nd cousin who went through the same harsh bullying, he took his own life as well. his mom was on Oprah telling their story. its sad what some kids go through.

turning a blind eye on this. Most parents are too busy to notice so when asked & the kids say they are OK, no one follows thru & pays attention to moods changing ect..Parent or no-grownups need to protect the children at ll costs. Warm hugs to you honey..Thanks for displaying this Blog. Suzanne♥

I did hear the story of Jamie-Very sad. I totally agree the parents & teachers should always be on the look out for such things but I also know that kids are more afraid to say anything cuz most times when the bullies find out they make it worse for the kid that is getting picked on.We need to STOP
