work has been much on my mind this week. its puttin a serious crimp in my drinking errrm social life. my boss is a complete arse and i could quite happily murder him with his own pink requisition slips. in triplicate of course. i'd be given hero status with my workmates:))

to this end iv drafted up a resignation letter template. feel free to use it as u will. its a standard form and insert names as is relevant to u.

the things that i would insert into mine can be read in the brackets iv put by each entry.

Dear Sir, (dear crusher of dreams)

It is with deep regret (Ii'm over the moon) that Ii am informing you of my intention to leave the company on this date. (I'll out of here in the next fifteen minutes)

may i take this opportunity (its the only one you've ever given me) to thank you for employing me (you saw me coming and thought 'sucker!!') and you have taught me many skills that will help to carry me forward in my career (you taught me the real meaning of slavery, drudgery and degradation)

its been a pleasure working for the company (its been like Guantanamo Bay) and i wish you every success in the future ( i hope you burn in hell)

Yours Faithfully (hah!!)

insert name here (idiot)

feel free to contribute to my form as much as you like. i need the inspiration:)

now lets have some fun!!!

I"m w/ the ladies....anything almost w/ Matthew McConaughey, mmmmm!! Regarding Henry is a good one, different. We quote everything from My Cousin Vinny, Ruthless People, Arthur - nearly all 80's comedies! But my I can watch them anytime, over & over - Nobody's Fool (Paul Newman) - ..................

favourite film on the post-columbian conquest is the mission with jeremy irons and robert de niro. hauntingly echoing liberation struggles in central america, i found it perfect vehicle to assist my students in understanding role of both "the sword and the cross" in spanish colonization.

    not seen it.

of course long before there was benjamin button there was dustin hoffman as little big man which turned our westerns on its head. try thunderheart with val kilmer. bet roberto knows black robe, underrated intl film by beresford after breaker morant. powerful on early contact in french canada.

    mmmm. val kilmer:)))
