Vacation Is Over. Time For Reality, And Christmas 11/13/09 9:17 AM

Well geez. Vacation went to fast, as always!! It's so hard to leave when I'm there in North Carolina with my parents. Since my Sister's death, reality has set in. My parents are almost 70 years young. I know that they won't stay here on Earth with me forever. My Dad is having some health issues now. I will enjoy and Love them while they are here. After that, it's all in God's hands. My dad and I got to see 2 whales in the Atlantic Ocean while I was there. Dad said that was the first time in 5 years that they have been there, that he has ever seen any whales!! So, we like to believe that it was my Sister Tina letting us know that she is okay. That idea actually came from Valdood(Rina) first. She was the first person that I met here on King, and has been an inspiration ever since. Hiya Rina!!
So, Thanksgiving is 13 days away!! WOW!!! Where did the Summer go??There's only 41 shopping days before Christmas!! Unbelievable!! I have already started my shopping. I always start in August. We have a huge Fair here then, and I always find really good things, at really good prices!! So, how are all of you going to celebrate the Holidays?? A BIG meal for Turkey day?? Visiting Family for Christmas?? It would be nice to hear how other places celebrate the Holidays. Let me know. Is there any traditions that you all do?? Let me know. I am looking forward to spending some Holiday Cheer with my Family and Friends here on King!!!

I am having some of the same feelings about those I love too, I look at them every day and tell myself how lucky I am to have them in my life, and try to spend time just loving them and appreciating them. Thank you!!

Yea, I think it's best if we tell and show our loved ones how much we do love and care for them while they are still here on Earth with us!! I have learned that through out my life time. Tell them today, they might not be here tomorrow!!

I don't do Christmas.. no shopping, no big meals (Thanksgiving is not celebrated in Europe, ofcourse) ;-) so.. it's not much different than other weeks/months for me.. but respect, that u've already started shopping.. & for ur positive look on life =) the whales must have been a sign (nice thought!)

Yeah, the whales were AWESOME!!! Rina has such a positive outlook on things!!
