If I ever seem to be losing hope again, somebody slap me please! The scan was done last night from head to toe. That's what his nurse told me this morning and I had to remind her that Ron doesn't have any toes! Her face actually turned red from embarrassment! Anyway, a whole body scan was done and praise God, nothing was found! His surgeon said that he is not concerned about the fever because it happens to people in the hospital all the time. Sometimes its as simple as the meds they are taking. I don't think he was happy about them even doing the scan (while he was out of town.) He had done the surgery on Weds at bedside to avoid moving Ron. Said it was too risky with all his incisions, all the tubes and needles, the ventilator, the heart monitor, etc. I don't know how they did it, but they did and everything looked good. So I will stop worrying about infection and I'll trust God that He is healing Ron. I do think it was pretty hard on Ron though, as he slept all day today. He was off the ventilator for 4 hours and the lung Dr. was very pleased with that. He still says that any day now Ron will be ready to have the ventilator removed completely. That will be a huge milestone. I can't wait!!!
You should always put your trust in God as He is always with you & Ron.The prayer chain here at King is long and strong. Our voices are being heard and they will continue.Ron will soon be off the ventilator and doing good.Praise God for all His Blessings! Hugs & Hugs Kathy
